Who is Serrurier Momo
Serrurier Momo is a mobile locksmith business serving Montreal, the South Shore and a wide region stretching to Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Vaudreuil-Dorion and Repentigny. Our strength is automotive: lockouts, lost keys, transponders, remotes and ignitions.
We also handle homes, rentals and businesses: opening without drilling, rekeying, CX5 and Mul-T-Lock high-security locks, electric locks and master key systems.
A regulated trade
In Quebec, working as a locksmith requires a permit from the Bureau de la sécurité privée. Serrurier Momo holds this permit, which frames our practice and our obligations to clients.
In practice, we always check identity and ownership before opening a vehicle or home, or making a key. That rule protects our clients as much as it protects other people's property.
NASTF vehicle security credential
On the automotive side, Serrurier Momo is registered with NASTF (National Automotive Service Task Force) as a Vehicle Security Professional (VSP). NASTF manages the registry that controls access to automakers' security information: key codes, programming and immobilizer resets.
Only vetted businesses that are registered, insured and in good standing can obtain this credential. For you, it means we can program on site keys and immobilizers many people think only the dealer can handle, with secure access tied to our business.
How we work
We ask the right questions by phone to arrive with the right parts, and we give you the price before leaving. No misleading teaser prices, no fees added once the door is open.
We always favour the least destructive method: open without breaking, repair before replacing, and tell you frankly when a problem is really a mechanic's job.
