Electromagnetic locks are composed of a set of metal parts. These are used to keep the components in place and to ensure proper functioning. These reinforcements become magnetized when an electric current passes through them, this secures the door and ensures electronic control of the locking and unlocking of the doors.

How does it work and how to use it?

The control of a magnetic lock and the entire locking mechanism is ensured by the principle of electromagnetism. When the magnet is magnetized, it adheres to the frame and locks the door. To enter or exit, the device, which serves as a connection, emits electrical components. For an unlocking of the door, it is simply necessary to cut off the power.

Electric striker

Electric strikers are used for safety and ease of purposes. They are often seen in access doors to private property, public buildings and industrial estates. These places are usually controlled by electric strikers that allow them to be opened remotely. So, depending on the door and the framing, we will install an electric striker and not an electromagnetic lock. Both cannot be installed on the same door.
