Electric strikes
An electric strike replaces the regular strike in the door frame. When it gets a signal from an intercom, button or keypad, it releases the bolt and the door opens. It's widely used for building entrances and offices.
Depending on the door, we pick a fail-secure or fail-safe strike, a choice with fire-safety consequences.
Magnetic locks
A magnetic lock holds the door with a powerful electromagnet. No moving parts, very reliable, but it must be installed with a compliant exit device, like a button or sensor, so it never traps anyone.
We make sure the installation meets the building's emergency exit requirements.
Keypads and access control
A code keypad or card reader avoids handing out physical keys. You remove a code in seconds when an employee leaves, without changing the lock.
For small businesses and rental buildings, it's often the most economical solution over time.
Diagnosis and repair
An electric door that no longer closes or opens often comes down to a failing power supply, a misaligned strike or a damaged cable. We diagnose and repair on site.
We also work on the mechanical side: handles, bolts, door closers and cylinders that go with the electric system.
