Mailbox locks are small cam cylinders. When the key is lost, the safest option is replacing the whole cylinder rather than copying a key others might have a duplicate of.
If the lock was forced or bent, we replace it with a new model and check that the mailbox door still closes properly.
Single boxes and building banks
For a wall-mounted or post mailbox, replacement is quick on site. For building mailbox banks, we work with the owner or manager.
For Canada Post community mailboxes, Canada Post manages the locks: we point you to them rather than touching those.
After a move
